The Red Rescue - How to Use, Do's, Don'ts & Expectations

Expectations:

Visible results should start within 1 hour after use and last for 12 hours. Repeat the process when redness occurs.
Side effects may include some irritation, dryness, burning, or itching at the application site. For information about how to manage side effects, please use eNurse Check-Ups on the Musely app.

Do’s:

The Red Rescue should be used once daily.
Use The Red Set if prescribed!
Use SPF 30+ daily. We recommend The Day Cream.
If you notice any extreme irritation, please consult with your dermatologist.
Patients should discontinue using skin products with drying or irritating active ingredients, such as peroxides or acids.

Don’ts:

Do not apply more than instructed.
Do not apply to damaged or broken skin, including sunburn or open wounds.
Avoid potential rosacea triggers, such as sun, heat, stress, alcohol, caffeine, or spicy foods.

How to Use

Cleanse

Thoroughly wash your face with a gentle cleanser and gently pat dry.

Apply The Red Rescue

Use upward-lifting motions to gently massage 1 full pump of The Red Rescue to the entire face once per day, OR as directed by your doctor.
- Be careful not to apply around the eyes, corners of the lips, or other sensitive areas.

Moisturize or SPF

Wash hands to remove any remaining medication.
Apply a thick layer of moisturizer to the entire face 2-5 minutes after application.
Apply a mineral-based sunscreen with SPF 30+ (such as The Day Cream) after application, if used in the morning.
