After submitting your order for the treatment(s) that you have selected during check out, your request is sent directly to your designated doctor. Within 24 hours, they will review your medical questionnaire and photos to determine which formula(s) or treatment plan will best treat your condition. During that visit, they will only approve treatments that you have specifically ordered. If they feel, however, that you could benefit from another treatment, they will be able to recommend it to you. If they do not feel that the treatment is suitable for you, they will reject it and you will be refunded the medication cost.
Once the prescription is written, you will receive an email notification to let you know that you have a message from your dermatologist. What formula(s) was I prescribed and where can I find this information?
What if I don't want one of the formulas that the doctor prescribed me?
While filling out the medical questionnaire, you are able to select your preferred formula to start with. Your designated doctor will take this into consideration, however, the prescription is not guaranteed. Our dermatologists will evaluate your medical history and current condition to determine the best treatment plan based on their medical expertise and discretion. If for any reason you do not want the initial fill or upcoming formula to process, please see the instructions below:
- For initial orders: Once the prescription is written, the order for the initial fill will be sent to the pharmacy to process right away. If you do not want this formula, please cancel the order prior to shipment. How do I cancel my initial order?
- For refill orders: Once the refill order has been charged and sent to the pharmacy to be filled, changes cannot be made. If you do not want this formula, please cancel the order prior to shipment. How do I cancel my refill order?
Once canceled, you can consult with your designated doctor to further discuss your prescription and request your preferred formula.
